It’s fantastic to have a powerful vision inside you!  It sets the course of your life and business. To seal the deal, we want to take those strong plans we’re creating and make them real.  ACTION! That implies a bit of effort on one’s part, eh?  Never fear!  You’ve been creating a relationship with focus and perseverance already in your mind by establishing the kind of person you want to be. You’ve pre-set your life for success by those powerful lines of thought.  Action comes much easier to those who are desperate for the end result. Of course, your dream may not seem to be coming... (Read More ...)

You know, like it or not, we’re all either moving toward or away from the kind of person and success we want in life.  With every decision we make, we’re wither setting ourselves up for future success or defeat. Think powerfully about what you want to be true.  The quality of your thought molds your life.  Not for one second should you admit defeat, unless that’s what you want.  Concentrating on something means you’re creating a relationship with the idea.  So think of what you want to be, not of weakness or failure. Just think the most powerful thoughts – superior ones, excellent... (Read More ...)

Whatever you want so desperately you can absolutely taste, smell, touch, hear and see in your mind – well, there’s your reality, comin’ right at ya! When you want something with deep yearning, with all your heart, it’s as though you actually “conceive” the seed of that little thing inside you.  An actual relationship comes into play with this desire, and the stronger and more persistent the desire grows, the stronger the relationship grows as well. It’s been said a thousand times that if you want to succeed in business, you have to work on yourself first.  Take that advice to heart. ... (Read More ...)

If we find chains about us, if we feel apathetic and disillusioned, the cause is no mystery.  No one likes to hear it, and we’re prone to a thousand rationalizations of why this can’t be so for us, but the bottom line is, if we feel like crap, it’s our own faults. We have no limits except those we place on ourselves.  I think of my constipated life back in college, struggling with a legalistic mindset and perfectionism.  I had to make straight A’s or…  well, my life would just fall apart. So I spent hours studying every evening to ensure top grades.  I honestly believed that if I... (Read More ...)

We humans like to think we can hide our real thoughts and feelings.  But that’s just a fallacy.   What’s inside your heart will come out eventually in front of all to see. To achieve an honorable, beautiful life, we have to go to work on our hearts.  We speak and act whatever lies within us, no doubt about it.  So how does one change from a caterpillar to a monarch?  How do we throw aside the crawling paths to soar among the clouds? We watch what we plant in our grey matter.  I’ve been working on changing my spoken words now for several months.  And I’ll tell you, it’s been anything... (Read More ...)

Some self-help gurus go as far as saying that your circumstances grow directly out of your thoughts.  That’s one powerful statement.  Every single solitary thought running through your brain is a seed, and it will land in soil somewhere, bringing a harvest of something – guaranteed. If you work on your temper and develop an attitude of self-control though right thought, well, it sure might seem like circumstances around you have changed dramatically, even if they’re smack-dab the same.  Your life seems different, more powerful. You attract what you dwell on.  Think vengeful thoughts,... (Read More ...)

You’ve likely heard the analogy that your mind is like a garden.  It doesn’t take any work at all to raise thistles.  Plant and nurture one weed, and you’re set for life.  They’re happy to keep coming back. It’s so easy to let yourself sink into fearful, anxious thinking.  Especially if others around you are negative and nervous wrecks.  And isn’t it funny how one fearful word creates an avalanche of frightening thoughts? But growing and nurturing graceful columbines, smiling pansies, lilies and gerbera daisies takes some work.  Some dedication.  Willingness to pull up threatening... (Read More ...)

Dissecting Your Thought Patterns Look very carefully at how your thoughts have created your life this far.  What exactly are you saying to yourself that causes you to fail?  To lose money instead of gaining it?  To push loved ones away instead of drawing them closer? Investigate these cause and effect thinking patterns.  If telling yourself you’re unattractive, here’s how you’re acting.  You don’t look folks in the eye when you speak to them.  You’re likely staring down a lot.  The words that come from your mouth are self-belittling. You can try to disguise them as humor, but they... (Read More ...)

Mastering Your Thoughts The person who masters his thoughts, masters his life.    So you can see the explosive power of deciding to transform your thinking. The first step is to become conscious of what you’re saying to yourself in situations throughout the day.  Much of what we tell ourselves comes from the past voices.  Comments our parents might have made.  Cruel jokes at school.  Years later, these words still replay loudly and clearly, sometimes even magnified. Replacing those old thought patterns with new ones involves first creating the new thoughts.  Know exactly what you’re... (Read More ...)
